Forming a ritualistic bond between humans and Tera Guardians known as a Pact, Kuro saved Keita's life and gained new powers. But that carried a price neither was aware of. From new comrades formed in battle, Kieta learns his mother may have been involved somehow with Tera Guardians before her untimely death, so he and Kuro head to Okinawa to find the answers to many mysteries.
