The world is an arid wasteland where massive mutant monsters, called Contaminoids, roam, and nomadic communities living in mobile domed cities compete for scarce resources. Mysterious young Layfon -- whose special abilities are stronger than his comrades' -- is forced to enroll at a military academy. Joining his fellow student soldiers in the desperate battle against the Contaminoids, Layfon must keep the origin of his abilities a secret or it will tear their team apart.
